I called the doctor's office around 2:45p, and they told me to come in right away since I had tested positive to the Group B Strep test. Unfortunately my doctor was not in the office, but the doctor who saw me said that I was a good 5 cm dilated and that he wanted me to go ahead and get admitted so that we could get the IV and the antibiotic going for the strep B. I have to be honest, I thought he would send me home because the contractions weren't regular. If I had any real notion that he would have me admitted, I would have stopped off for food before I went to his office. I am STARVING!
At this point I have finished the first round of antibiotics and have been walking the halls at the hospital for nearly an hour because the contractions seem to come on strong when I'm walking, but come to a near halt when I'm lying down. Next step is for the doctor to come in and see about breaking my water. Stay tuned.

Oh girl, I completely understand and sympathize with your hunger!! I sure hope Andrew cooperates and comes quickly so that momma can eat!!! I am super excited for you guys and praying for a smooth and painless delivery. Love you!!
