If they can do it outdoors, it keeps them plenty busy!

A favorite sound.

Can't you just hear it? Jerry and I are nuts about the sound of laughter in our home. And I love it when he says to either of the boys, "You have a great laugh, buddy!" Because they most certainly do – just like their daddy.

A few shots of the boys "modeling" (yeah, right!) their Easter outfits. I knew better than to wait until after Easter lunch. Good thing, too, because Roo had a cold and gagged on his food while chewing and swallowing and the next thing I know...he was covered in his meal. Yep, not a pretty sight. But he sure looked handsome up to that point. =)

Roo and his A-maa.

Roo loves his "A-maa" (Mickey Mouse). That's "a," as in ant, and "maa," as in the sound a goat makes. A-maa runs a tight race with Oi-yo (Goofy). Either of the pair are likely to make playtime appearances throughout the day.

According to Alex, it was a perfect day for blowing bubbles.

A glorious Easter

When you reflect on Easter, do you think, "I am so unworthy of, yet so grateful for the gift of His grace?"

The more Easters I celebrate, the more grateful I become for the gift of new life through Jesus. His sacrifice is astounding. It leaves me speechless to think about all that He took on to wash us clean in God's eyes.

The more I learn about the holiness of God, the more I am amazed at how He pursues us. How He desires us to know Him so intimately yet, like Adam and Eve – because of our sin, we so often run and hide from His face. I am humbled by a Savior, Who, despite my sin and my running and hiding, loves me anyway.

Like the eggs we dye, we are covered by the blood of Jesus.

And while we may hide, He still seeks us – searches for us longingly. We may think we are better hiders than He is Seeker, but it just isn't true.

And when we think we are so lost that we can't be found, He tenderly...

...and lovingly gathers us up in His arms...

...and carries us back to Him.

We are His treasures.

And He is our great reward.

He celebrates our return to Him with great jubilation.

What wonderful news – He has risen!
