Little Man's Big Adventures - The Strawberry Farm

We couldn't have had a more perfect day to go to the strawberry farm. The weather was beautiful, the strawberries were ripe for the picking, and Little Man was game for some fun. He has his bucket and is ready to go!

And after all the hard work is done, Alex and Daddy take some time for a ride on the bouncy tiger slide. Whee!

Now to get the strawberries hulled and packaged - some for the freezer and some for eating now. I'm looking for good recipes, too. Do you have any recipes you recommend that use fresh strawberries? Please do share!

You can't go wrong with strawberry freezer jam! It's one of our family favorites. The recipe is so simple and can be found inside the boxes of Sure-jel. You'll have to tell me where the strawberry farm is, because I think it's a place we need to visit!

LOVE the photos! You are really stepping up the game! ;)

Just read a strawberry preserves recipe at My Five Men that sounded great.

Love you dearly! XOXOXO

YUM! When I find a good deal on strawberries I freeze a whole bunch of them and make smoothies throughout the year for breakfast. Jackson loves them. I put in banana, blueberries, strawberries, yogurt, ice, and OJ.

Looks like you guys had a nice time. I bet Alex loved it.

Those strawberries look sooooo yummy! I bet they taste even better than they look. Just curious, have you purchased any white or milk chocolate to dip them in?? Yummmmm!

I am loving all your updates and pictures lately. So much fun. Miss you tons but this helps. Love you girl!

Those are the best looking strawberries I think I have ever seen! Yum! My favorite way to have strawberries is just slightly mashed with a little sugar and put on hot biscuits with lots of butter!!! Makes breakfast so special....everything tastes better, scrambled eggs, bacon....oh I'm hungry now!

your pictures are fantastic. thanks for telling me about flickr, it makes such a difference.
