Thank goodness for this little piece of modern technology.
I tell ya, if this phone weren't good for anything other than watching episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I'd still love it because it makes my trips to the grocery store manageable. (Most of the time.) Alex watched it for our entire outing to the store today, which was good because I was on a mission.
Yesterday I made my list for the Kroger mega cart buster event. I listed what I needed, how many of each, if I had a manufacturers coupon, if that coupon would be doubled, if I had additional coupons loaded to my Kroger card, and I made sure I had every coupon pulled together in an envelope so that I could be as quick as possible at the store.
Helped me rake in $115 in savings. I am well-stocked for a few weeks now. Thank goodness because going to the store is not on my list of favorite things to do. In fact, it's not even remotely close to making that list. That's why I decided to stockpile this week - in order to spare myself the misery of another "full trip" for at least another couple of weeks. (Short trips I don't mind so much; long trips stink.)
Stockpile indeed - that's why my receipt is almost three feet long!
Thank you Kroger mega sale, thank you P&G for the great coupons, and thank you Apple for one of the best inventions ever! We're off to a good start this week! Glad that I can say I have one of my chores checked off the list - woohoo!

You go girl! Love it! You should have posted a picture of all the stuff you bought. I'd love to have seen that! Good for you for getting such great deals for your family. It is SO nice to be stocked up and not have to rush out for little things here and there. I too am not a huge fan of grocery shopping - especially if J is in tow. I need to load up my phone with some shows - great idea! I can usually bribe him with a cookie. :-) Before baby comes get stocked up on lots of pantry staples so you have lots of options for quick luches and dinners - you are going to need that!
WOO HOO!! Awesome job!! LOL! I'd be happy to keep LM if you would do that for both of us. ;) Actually, I'd be happy to keep him regardless. You did an amazing job of saving your family money. You know I think that is an honorable duty. I'm proud of you... as always. Love you. XOXOXO
TEACH ME HOW TO DO THAT!!!!!!! That is way awesome!!!
Love yall xoxoxoxoxox
And thank you for complimenting on the pretty dress I am hopping FL. Is warm this spring break so I can wear it :)
That is incredible! I love how you use your organization and planning to make the best of your time and shopping trips. That list is LONG, girl! And yes, I don't know what we did before iPhones. I truly believe Connor learned how to recognize, write, and sound out his letters from all of the apps we've had since I got my phone. Now he is mastering his phonics and some basic reading. It's amazing. Kaitlynn isn't quite ready yet for the apps so I may have to follow your example and download her some programs. Great idea!!!
OMG.....that is great.
I'll bet it took some time to compose the list, coupons, etc!
Good Job!
I didn't even hear about Kroger mega sale
