Dear Andrew,
Last night as I rocked you to sleep, I read you the first chapter of the book of Luke. In this chapter, the angel Gabriel visits Zechariah and tells him that his wife Elizabeth will bear him a son who they are to call John. And right after Gabriel shares this news, he says to Zechariah, "He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord." (v. 14, 15)
I read those words over and over again while thinking about you. Sweet boy, you, too, are a joy and delight, and many have rejoiced because of your birth – especially, Daddy, Alex and I – for you are also great in the sight of the Lord. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.
We love you so much, little Andrew. And we are thrilled that God chose you to be a part of this family. What a blessing you are!

What a beautiful tribute to your littlest man. I have no doubt he will do great things. I just wish I were there to meet him! I left a long comment on the last post but blogger wouldn't post it. Ugggh! I have to comment on my phone. I loved all the updates on the post. Looks like the boys are growing close. Lots of fun to come. Your boys are very lucky to have you and each other. :-)

I just enjoyed all the pictures and this post to sweet Andrew will be cherished forever...I just know it. I think my favorite pic is Andrew crying...isn't that awful? But it is just so cute! I want to pick him up and snuggle him on my shoulder...sigh.
I LOVE seeing this sweet new pic of Andrew. And I also love how when reading scriptures, you managed to read just the right ones that spoke to you in that moment. It's neat how that happens. :-)
