I'm having such a hard time deciding what to do in the nursery. So I'm asking for you to weigh in on your favorite look.
OPTION 1
SOPHISTICATED BABY
This look is clean and simple, and the brown houndstooth adds just a touch of sweet sophistication.

OPTION 2
HOP ON BOARD THE JUNGLE TRAIN
I'm a big fan of ticking stripe. Always have been. And so I love how that pattern is worked into this design. I also like the colors - apple green, blue, red, yellow and brown - lots to work with.

OPTION 3
BUNNIES, MONKEYS, AND FROGS, OH MY!
You'll have to use your imagination on this one because there's no bedding set.
This little painting is my inspiration.

Imagine that painting on these light blue walls. (This is a photo of the nursery in progress.)

And a black crib similar to this one.

With a small storage chest like this for clothes and diapers and such.
I imagine fun fabrics like this for the bedding and window treatments.

And a sweet light fixture like this one.

So what do you think? Do you like option 1, option 2 or option 3? Help a girl out!

First of all, no matter what you pick I know it will turn our FABULOUS! Laine's favorite is option 1 and my favorite is option 2. I love the bright colors with the brown. I think it's perfect for a little boy's room. Can't wait to see what you pick and how it all comes together.
I like Number 1 and Greg likes Number 2 because he says its more "baby" than Number 1, which is, of course, why I like Number 1 in the first place. I am a little creeped out by the monkey in the hat but I am sure if that's what you choose it will be adorable!
Which one excites you?
Wow, LOVE what you've come up with!! Will you come decorate our nursery? :-) Seriously, I think my fave is Option 2, mostly because it looks the most like a "baby" room. Option 1 really stood out for me too, and it might be the better choice if you're decorating for longer term, like until he is 2 or 3. What I've found with our own baby decor is that we really needed to get something more age-appropriate by the time Connor was 2. Hope that helps... :-)
I like number three.
I am going to have to go with #3. I love the animals and also think that the style is very you. Classic but with twist (ha!) Seriously though - the animals have a classic-style which i think fits with you
Hmm, this is a tough one. I like the idea of a "sophisticated baby" look as your base but maybe with the black crib and black houndstooth or ticking stripe material instead. Then add the painting, fun colors, and accessories. Switch them out as he gets older or just when you feel like it. Love the light fixture!
I love 'sophisticated baby'. Good basics that could grow with baby Correa
Your blog is great. So fun to follow the progress.
