Ever so often, you can hear the thud of snow toppling to the ground from the rooftops above and the crack of branches breaking – some landing on cars. Fortunately, all the downed branches that I've seen have been small, so no real damage to speak of.
The snow crunches underneath us now that the wetness of it has turned icy. Snowball fights aren't nearly as fun when the snow doesn't break upon impact! But that icy snow hasn't stopped Alex from eating as much as he can.

And of course, if he's going to have some, Roo needs some, too. Leave him out? Please!

The absolute best part of our day (other than Jerry making it to work safe and sound) has been when the boys and I sledded down a big hill at our neighborhood park. My goodness! I felt like a kid again! Hope you have a wonderful weekend and are keeping warm wherever you are.

LOL! I'm sure Noni would have had to have a turn at the park hill, too!! LOL! Great photos! Love the one of Alex eating snow!! {sigh} love to my Little Men... xoxoxo
My Aunt and Uncle have a place at Smith Mountain Lake - your neck of the woods is gorgeous!
You have gotten more snow than we have here in Chicago - we are 326 days of having no measurable snow - so crazy!
